His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research presents the University of Technology Shield to the faculty members with the highest number of publications in the Web of Science (WOS) databases.

His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, presented the University of Technology Shield to the top five professors at the university according to the WOS ranking within the global Clarivate database.

Among the recipients of the University of Technology’s Excellence Shield were Prof. Dr. Raid Abdul Wahab Ismail, Head of the Department of Applied Sciences; Prof. Dr. Ghassan Mohammed Suleiman, Head of the Biotechnology Branch; and Prof. Dr. Majid Sakhi Jaber.

This recognition took place during the central celebration held by the University of Technology on the occasion of its Golden Jubilee, marking fifty years since its establishment, and was attended by His Excellency the Minister.

The celebration was also attended by the Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahad, the Advisor to the President of the Republic, Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Mohammed, as well as many university presidents, deans, department heads, and other distinguished guests.

The ceremony concluded with the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, presenting an honorary shield to His Excellency the Minister. Following this, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi honoured department heads, former university presidents, and several outstanding professors and researchers from various departments across the university.
