The Department of Medical and Industrial Materials conducted maintenance on several laboratory devices.

As part of individual and outstanding efforts by the Department of Medical and Industrial Materials, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Enas Mohi Hadi, a group of faculty members carried out a maintenance and development campaign on several laboratory devices. Maintenance work was conducted on three highly important devices regularly used in training and scientific research. Assistant Prof. Dr. Mudhafar Ali Mohammed and Dr. Ali Laeq Abd successfully repaired and restored the distillation apparatus to its optimal working condition. Meanwhile, Dr. Duraid Fawzi Mahdi carried out maintenance on a 20-ton hydraulic press to ensure its efficiency in laboratory operations. Additionally, he performed maintenance on a 7-ton hydraulic press, assisted by lab assistant Zainab Mahmoud Raheem. These maintenance efforts reflect the department’s commitment to preserving the performance of laboratory equipment and ensuring the continuity of educational and research activities in line with the highest standards.
