The Department of Medical and Industrial Materials Science is organising a Scientific Visit to the Sadr Al-Qanat Center for Prosthetics and Medical Supports

The Department of Medical and Industrial Materials Science, in cooperation with the Department of Applied Physics, organized a scientific visit for first-year students to the Sadr Al-Qanat Center for Prosthetics and Medical Supports, affiliated with the Baghdad Rusafa Health Directorate / Ministry of Health.

The visit was conducted under the direction of the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Inas Muhi Hadi, with supervision and follow-up by the Scientific Visits Committee and a group of faculty members from both departments. During the visit, students were introduced to the materials used in the manufacturing of prosthetics and medical supports, as well as the stages of production and the services provided to beneficiaries. This visit was part of the scientific activities aimed at enhancing the practical skills of students and linking theoretical study with real-world application in specialized institutions.
